Liz Holliday | Program Coordinator
Liz started her career with the State of Tennessee, as a Park Ranger at Montgomery Bell State Park. In that role, she served as a commissioned law enforcement officer and licensed EMT-IV. She was responsible for park operations and facility management while on duty. She also created and offered environmental education programs (i.e., stream surveys, birds of prey programs, wildflower and geological hikes).
During her 5-year tenure with the State, she organized and facilitated the non-profit 501(c)(3) Friends of Montgomery Bell State Park. In that role, she coordinated volunteers and events to fund and complete park projects. Liz also oversaw the construction of a park greenhouse, and managed the park’s native plant gardening program. She provided assistance and native plants to other parks throughout the TN State Park system.
Liz has been with Sutherland & Associates since 2015. She brings a highly responsive level of detail to project management that provides guidance, structure, and excellent data-gathering services in real time. Liz is adept in developing and using data management and assessment tools, including Salesforce, Lucidchart, and social surveying software. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University, preparing to take on more responsibility as Sutherland & Associates grows.
