Ali Liberman | Program Coordinator

Ali brings a wealth of experience in communication, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination. She loves working with people and collaborating on complex issues, finding common ground to achieve shared goals.

Ali started her early environmental career working for non-profit organizations, with the main focal points on local and national energy policy. She also gained experience in marketing roles, managing Social Media and Brand Strategy for small businesses. As she was working on her Master’s degree in Environmental Policy, she began working with the Department of Health in NYC working on food and health equity in Brooklyn schools.

After attaining her Master’s degree, she moved to Los Angeles and began working for the Department of Toxic Substances Control within the California EPA as a Public Engagement Specialist. In this role, she worked with homeowners, contractors, and engineers to remediate residential parcels containing lead-impacted soil in a small community in East Los Angeles. She later decided to make her way back into the private sector, working as a Project Coordinator for an architect firm that designed, permitted, and constructed Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).

In her free time, Ali is inseparable from her dog and loves to be active and enjoy nature.
